自立し、真に演出家のよきパートナーとなれる俳優を育てる。

俳優は孤独な存在である。
訓練を共につづけるよき仲間たちがいたとしても、
心より信頼をよせる演技教師や演出家がいたとしても、
舞台の上やカメラの前で、日々の訓練の途上で、
俳優を正しい方向へ導くのは俳優自身でしかない。

I have always been utterly fascinated by the theater. The experience of performing is an experience of giving, and giving something beautiful to others always feels good. And, too, the experience of being an audience member, of beholding entertainment in the form of art or music or dance, feels wonderful because it's an experience of receiving something priceless and beautiful. When I was young and thinking about what to do with my life, I explored different avenues all of which were interesting, but nothing I tried felt like the exact right fit for me until I settled on the theater. I realized that theater, that mysterious and grand art that illuminates life, was something into which I could happily and endlessly pour my energy and love, and something to which I could devote myself totally.
